Aloe Vera (Aloe perryi, A. barbadensis)

Aloe Vera is a compound that is extracted from the leaf of the Aloe Vera plant. It has been used for thousands of years as a medicinal plant extract to support the healing of burns and skin complaints. Aloe is 99.5% water, and is rich with antioxidants, vitamins A and C and is highly inflammatory. In beauty, Aloe is often used as a natural 'softener' for skin creams and due to its anti-wrinkle and acne soothing properties. It is also considered for its ability to regulate female hormones.

Amyris (Amyris balsamifera)

Amyris oil is a sweet essential oil, steam distilled from torchwood and is used as a natural perfume. It has been said to have slight aphrodisiac properties but this could be due to its warm, woody aroma. In beauty products, Amyris is often used as a natural fixative, helping your products to last longer.

Argan Oil (Argania spinosa)

Argan Oil remains one of the rarest oils in the world. A true gift of Mother Nature, Argan Oil has been used for centuries by the inhabitants of Morocco for its anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory and deeply nourishing properties. Avocado (Persea gratissima)

The Avocado tree originates from Mexico and South America, where it is often nicknamed 'the testicle tree' due to the shape and dangle of the fruit. This may also be the reason the Avocado fruit is considered to have aphrodisiac properties. Used in natural shampoos and cosmetics due to its high fat, vitamin A and C content.
